<strong>Renan Laru-an</strong>, was one of two winners of the Encura grant resulting on this curatorial research residency at Hangar from january to february 2016.

His project <b>“Lightning Studies: Center for the Translation of Constraints, Conflicts and Contaminations”</b> concentrates on discursive architecture generated from horizontal scenes of knowledge.

The resident artists from HANGAR that have been selected for this curatorial experience with Renan Laru-an are <b>Megan Michalak</b>, the artists duo <b>Giuliana Racco/Matteo Guidi</b>, <b>Mario Santamaría</b> y <b>Christina Schultz</b>.

Dispersed in the city of Barcelona, <b>“Footnotes”</b> are a series of <b>encounters and meetings</b> designed as annotations to the development of artistic contributions to Lightning Studies: CTCCCs.

The first session was a close reading of different <b>versions of Robinson Crusoe</b> by the resident artists of HANGAR. The Barcelona based curator <b>David Armengol</b> was invited to participated to this encounter.

The session was open to the public and took place at HANGAR.
